This is hands down the best Mexican food in St Louis I have had! Having moved from a more Southern region with really good Mexican food, I have been very disappointed in Mexican food in St Louis. This was absolutely amazing food!! I highly recommend and look forward to coming back.

I heard about this place from a friend, and since I enjoy Mexican food, I was more than keen on trying it. I wasn't too hungry, but I went to my go to - barbacoa tacos! They were excellent! I will post more when I try more of the menu, buy all-in-all, a great dining experience!

Very friendly staff and delicious food with an unassuming storefront. This is a hidden gem of St. Louis. Skip the wait at Sunny's and come here as the food is much better without all the noise. Free chips and fresh salsa. The margarita pitcher will get you about 7 or 8 drinks. The chicken or steak fajitas are very good with quality ingredients and portions that allow for a follow up meal. Choriqueso is solid. Beans and rice are good. Everything is good here. Quit reading about it and go already.

Stopped in while family was in the hospital and the food was delicious. Food came fast and service was great. The carne asada burrito was amazing.

Nicholas is a charming owner who recommended 3 wonderful enchiladas that I forgot to post a picture of. Like other reviews, chips and salsa arrived immediately. Salsa was so good we requested more. My companion enjoyed her steak fajitas, 'one of the best'!! Last but not least, skinny margaritas were 'da bomb....

Solid food, solid prices, and good service. I love getting the Steak Fajitas lunch special. I always run out of tortillas though before finishing everything but you can always ask for more tortillas. Chips and salsa are included

My wife wanted to try something different and got Tacos Handurenos, which was a very interesting and good specialty and the first time we've had Hispanic food with beets and mustard I was not as adventurous and just had a regular Chimichnga. Food portions were large. Nice atmosphere - would definitely return again.
